I can't ever remember a time in my life that wasn't centered around my love for God or my love for music. Therefore, it seemed only natural to combine these passions into a ministry of hope and victory as I spread the life changing news of Jesus Christ through song. My first public appearance was at the age of 5. I sang "Jesus Loves Me" on a weekly television broadcast with my dad. From there I began singing in church services throughout the local area and then I gradually expanded my ministry to churches throughout the surrounding states.
Upon graduating from high school I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concord University mastering in Psychology and Sociology. I was also extremely blessed by God with the opportunity of teaching the youth and directing the choir in my home church. I even began playing the piano at this time with much help from God and patience from my teacher (who also happened to be my dad). I was still feeling that tug in my heart, however, to do more with my solo singing ministry. I felt led by God to start a weekly radio broadcast. I also began writing some of my own material. I received the honor of being named a semi-finalist in Daywind's Exalting Him Talent Search as well as a finalist in the West Virginia's Finest Talent Search.
In June of 2009 I was invited to perform at the Music City Gospel Showcase in Pigeon Forge, TN. This event was filmed at the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center and nationally televised on Angel 2 Network. In May of 2010 I released my second CD, "The Calling" , under the Frostbyte Recording Label. It includes five of my own songs and five from artists that I have met through my work with Music City Gospel Showcase.
I reside in Princeton,West Virginia with my husband, Brian, and two children, Jared and Kaitlyn. (and of course my mom, Jean...what an inspiration she has been!!!)
I owe all glory to God for the wonderful life that he has blessed me with and for the wonderful abilities and opportunities He has afforded me. His hand has been upon me every step of the way. I love Him with all of my heart and will sing of His awesome promises as long as He gives me breath.
